Switched from Carta

I've been a Carta guy for the last 12 years. However, we wanted more value for our money. So we tried Cake and, the delightful surprise was it was a better product. We saved money with a better product.

Switched from Carta

We were paying a premium for Carta without really using the platform much. It felt like an expensive, oversized solution for what we actually needed.

Switched from Carta

After working with Carta, we were facing an annual cost of $16,000. The cost was just not making any sense for us. You guys were able to offer something that was affordable for us.

What Carta switchers are saying

"I was a former Carta user. Happy to have left them."

Keep doing what you are doing! I was a former Carta user. Happy to have left them.

Joe Gagnon

Founder & CEO, Raynmaker.ai

"Cake costs significantly less than Carta. It was a no-brainer decision for us to choose to move to Cake."

Cost wasn't the primary driver for us. But Cake costs significantly less than Carta. So when it's basically ahead on all those features, it was a no-brainer decision for us to choose to move to Cake.

Dave Christianson

Legal Counsel, Tracksuit

"I previously used Carta, and as market leaders, they seem to have gotten a bit complacent."

Cake Equity feels like the next generation—much more dynamic and attentive to user needs.

Christoph Dressel

CEO, Mimo.fit

"Better Carta with real customer support. Very happy I switched!"

Better, cheaper Carta with real customer support. Simple, easier usability. Great support. Very happy I switched!

Griffin Hermes

Principal, Pegasus Angel Accelerator

"Cake is what Carta should be!"

Cake is easy to use, and the support actually gets stuff done. When you have an issue with Carta, you need to call them and it gets escalated to multiple people and it takes *days* to get stuff done.

With Cake, I have access to my own representative, I can book meetings with them when I want and they get things done within hours.

Julien D

Co-founder & CEO, Codiga

"Far more user friendly than Carta!"

Emphasis on the user experience for shareholders! Far more user friendly than Carta. I also enjoy the company updates that are pushed to all shareholders.

Ron Pragides

VP of Engineering,
Blackhawk Network

"The system is easier to use than Carta."

My onboarding process was personalized, fast, and supportive. The system is easier to use than Carta. Implementation was fast and easy. It has all of the features that I need.

Ray Thompson

Head of Ops, Gloo
