How it started
Jason and Kim met on the Gold Coast, Australia in 2016 when they were both working on growing the startup ecosystem. Their shared passion of entrepreneurship led them to start Cake, as they wanted to help founders and their teams realize their dreams, with 1 click equity as an enabler.
How it's going
Cake is trusted by founders all over the world. Our technology and legal innovation enables founders to use their equity together with their employees, advisors, and investors to grow the value of their business.
Since launching in 2018 we have become the leading cap table & equity management provider for startups in Australia and have launched the platform in 50 countries on our path to solving equity across borders.

The philosophy behind CHL is that humans have unlimited potential and it is only fully realized when looking at things holistically. Optimal health, great relationships and strong connection with nature are fundamental for living fully. We believe and live these values and we believe our global impact with Cake will be so much bigger and better when we can help founders and their teams live with these values.
