Which Cake plans include MCP?

MCP is included on Team and Pro with annual or quarterly billing. There is no add-on and no separate line on the invoice

Is Cake in Claude’s connector directory?

Yes. Open Connectors in Claude, search for Cake and select Connect. Sign in with your Cake account and start asking.

What is MCP?

An open standard that lets an AI assistant plug into a tool and read from it. Cake runs the server, your assistant connects to it. Nothing is installed.

What assistants work?

Claude (Claude.ai, Desktop and Code), Codex, Grok, Cursor and VS Code today. ChatGPT works with developer mode on. Any client that speaks MCP can connect.

Can it model my next round, or my option pool?

It reports your cap table as it is today, not what it might become. Your assistant already knows your hiring plan and runway, so it can model from exact cap table figures instead of a stale export. A potential projection and its assumptions are yours to own. The cap table underneath remains correct as per Cake.

Can it change my cap table?

No. Every tool on the server is read only. Your assistant can tell you the pool has 12% left. It cannot issue a grant against it. Write access has no ship date.

Is my cap table used to train AI?

Cake sends data only in answer to a request from your signed-in account, and sends it nowhere else. What your assistant does with the answer is covered by that vendor's terms, the same as any document you paste into it.

How accurate are the answers?

The numbers come straight from your Cap Table, so they are as correct as what you entered. The assistant reading them is still a language model. Check anything you act on, the same as you would a colleague's summary.
