The Cake way
Live cap table answers, inside the AI assistant you already use.
Your assistant can read shareholders and holdings, share classes, plans and grants, and convertibles. Board prep, pool checks and vesting questions get answered without an export.
Answers in seconds
No export, no filter, no second tab. Ask, and the number comes back from the live Cap Table.
Read-only by design
It answers, it never edits. Issuing, editing and deleting stay in the app, behind the same approvals, always.
One version of the truth
Your assistant reads the same Cap Table your board pack does. Two people asking the same question get the same number.
Works where you already work
The assistant your team opened this morning now answers equity questions. Nothing new to learn, nothing new to log into.
Your ai, your context
Cake runs no model. Your own assistant reasons over Cake data alongside everything else it already knows.
Connected in a minute
Paste one link and sign in with your own Cake account. No shared keys and nothing installed.
See what your AI can tell you about your Cap Table
Connect your assistant to your cap table and start asking in one easy workflow.
1
Request access
An admin asks in Settings, then AI access. We usually turn it on the same business day.
2
Connect to your AI tool of choice
Add Cake to Claude, Codex, Cursor or any assistant that speaks MCP.
3
Sign in and approve
Connect with your own Cake account. The same permissions you already have.
4
Start asking
Who are our top ten shareholders, fully diluted? How much of the option pool is left? Which grants vest next quarter? Ask your AI assistant about your cap table.
An open standard that lets an AI assistant plug into a tool and read from it. Cake runs the server, your assistant connects to it. Nothing is installed.
What assistants work?
Claude Desktop, Claude.ai, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex CLI and VS Code today. Any client that speaks MCP can connect, and more add support every month.
Can it change my cap table?
No. Every tool on the server is read only. Your assistant can tell you the pool has 12% left. It cannot issue a grant against it. Write access has no ship date.
Is my cap table used to train AI?
Cake sends data only in answer to a request from your signed-in account, and sends it nowhere else. What your assistant does with the answer is covered by that vendor's terms, the same as any document you paste into it.
How accurate are the answers?
The numbers come straight from your Cap Table, so they are as correct as what you entered. The assistant reading them is still a language model. Check anything you act on, the same as you would a colleague's summary.
