SAFEs & Notes 2.0

We've completely rebuilt how fundraising works in Cake Equity. SAFEs, convertible notes, and custom notes now follow a streamlined workflow that matches how founders actually raise money—focused on getting investment closed and cap tables updated, not navigating complex raise structures. 

The new workflow:

1. Add your investor and enter the investment amount
2. Use our templates or upload your own documents
3. Send for digital signature—everything updates your cap table automatically
4. Tag instruments to specific funding rounds for organized tracking

This replaces the previous raise feature with a more direct approach. Whether you're working with SAFEs, convertible notes, or custom agreements, the process is faster and more intuitive. You'll also find improved list management with sorting capabilities, making it easier to navigate multiple instruments as your fundraising scales.

We're continuing to refine this experience with additional UX improvements, tooltips, and an enhanced onboarding flow coming soon.
