Connect Claude, Codex, Grok, Cursor or any MCP client to Cake and ask about your cap table in plain English. Answers come from your live cap table. No export, no spreadsheet, no stale copy pasted into a chat window.
Cake now runs an MCP server. MCP is the open standard AI assistants use to connect to tools, so it works in whatever you already have open.
Try asking:
- What did we grant the last few engineers, and on what vesting?
- When does Sam’s cliff land?
- Summarise our SAFEs by cap and discount.
- Who holds what, by share class?
Everything is read-only. Your assistant reads shareholders, share classes, grants, vesting schedules and convertibles. Issuing, editing and deleting stay in the app behind the usual approvals.
*Your cap table is right as you entered it, and the assistant reading it is a language model that can make mistakes. Check anything you act on.
Rolling out by invitation to Team, Growth and Pro on annual or quarterly billing, at no extra charge. Request access under Settings > AI access (MCP).
