Can I migrate my existing cap table to Cake?

Yes. Cake offers free migration from any platform, including Carta and spreadsheets. You upload your existing documents via the in-app import tool, Cake's team configures your account within 2–3 days, and you finish with a power-up call to review the setup. Growth plans include basic migration; Pro plans include managed migration with priority support.

What equity instruments does Cake support?

Cake supports common and preferred shares, stock options (ISO and NSO), restricted stocks (RSU and RSA), SAFEs, convertible notes, and warrants, all tracked in a single cap table.

Who can access my cap table and can I control permissions?

Yes. Cake has four permission levels: View Only (read access), Edit (can make changes), Admin (full edit plus billing access), and Account Owner (full control including user management). Only Account Owners can invite or remove users and change permission levels.
